Abraham Hostels & Tours are a group of fun and friendly hostels that cater to independent travelers looking to explore Israel and experience our beautiful country and the Middle East to the fullest. Our Four hostels are located in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Nazareth and Eilat and we operate tours all around Israel, the West Bank, Egypt and Jordan! What the role is
Overall responsibility for the field of service and sales at the reception. The position is part of the hostel's management team. The position is full time, 5 days a week and includes availability for shifts on weekends (about once a month). Availability to start work immediately is required.
What you will be doing
Manage the reception staff (about 10 employees), including the onboarding, training and handling professional and personal problems
Daily and weekly work schedules and staff meetings
Guest relations and handling special problems or situations
Determine the level of customer service and maintain high standards
Maintain the high level of ratings and reviews
What you should have
At least two years' experience in customer service
Experience in team management
High level English and Hebrew
Connection and love for the world of backpacking and independent tourism
Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership skills
High level of organization
Experience in booking/reception in tourism/hotels - an advantage
Israeli citizenship or work visa in Israel is required for this position!
