Abraham Hostels & Tours are a group of fun, friendly hostels that cater to independent travellers looking to explore Israel and experience our beautiful country, and the Middle East to the fullest. Our Four hostels are located in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Nazareth and Eilat (soon!) and we operate tours all around Israel, the West Bank, Egypt and Jordan! what the role is
Setting the standard of cleanliness for Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv, every day and on special occasions. It is one of the most challenging, important and central roles in the hostel, and will be part of the hostel's management team.
The job in Full-time,5 days a week. About once a month you will have a weekend duty which requires to be on call.
What you will be doing
Responsibility for level and quality of cleanliness in the hostel - both in rooms and social spaces
Recruiting, training and managing the housekeeping team (about 15 employees)
Scheduling and prioritizing
Work with suppliers (cleaning supplies, laundry, manpower and more)
Responsibility for inventory and stock
Responsibility for meeting goals and budget
What you should have
Must have management experience in the housekeeping field
Great knowledge of housekeeping in the hospitality industry
Hebrew and English. Other languages - advantage
Great people skills and ability to work well in a team
Ability to motivate employees
Professional, authoritative, reliable and responsible
